So as usual there is a huge gap between my last journal entry and now .. it seems I have a tendency to start these things feeling very gung - ho and then get distracted or just plain busy and then they lapse into long gaps and I feel like I have to make excuses for not staying current.

Well no excuses this time .. I have been just too damn busy having a good damn time to be bothered writing here! But it might be a good chance to catch the on-line diaries up a bit...

Ok great news starting from the top:
I have fallen in love for the first time in many years and my new sweetheart and I have been on this great path of mutual discovery. Although we are not entering into an exclusively monogamous relationship we absolutely consider this to be our "primary" relationship and we are communicating very openly about to what extent we will explore play and sexual encounters with others

On other fronts I had a hell of a good time travelling around the country doing kink education for groups and conventions and it looks like 2008 is going to bring me a hell of a lot more of the same!!

Let's see a few other tidbits from the personal front... I am in my 3rd week of non smoking and for the first time ever I am really feeling good about it so I believe I have a good chance at not returning to that nasty addiction!

I took delivery of my first brand new car a couple of months ago and I absolutely adore my little Nissan Versa hatchback! (Black of course and fully loaded with ALL the bells and whistles!!)

I am doing far better than I would have thought possible with my college math course , in fact my course average is currently 98.7 which really makes me happy and proud.

All in all life has been REALLY DAMN GOOD to me lately and I believe that I owe a lot of it to the Law of Attraction and simply keeping a really high attitude of gratitude in my life (yeah corny I know but it works and I believe it can make a difference in anyone’s life if they stick with it!!).

Wow...ok so I like totally have not been here in months but it was a really great summer and fall once I recovered from my little summer kick off party. :)

Ok so last I posted I was just getting over a respiratory thing that I picked up while in Chicago (I actually heard quite a few people were sick after that trip.. must have been something going around there). Anyway, I was just about recovered from that when I woke up in the middle of the night with a screaming pain in my gut. :( Turns out I had a perforated ulcer and needed emergency surgery or I was going to die. Woahhh!! Way scary!! Well I spent a full week in the dang hospital with a tube in my nose and when they finally released me I spent another 2 weeks or so recovering from more than 20 staples in my abdomen. Definitely NOT how I expected to kick off my summer let me tell ya!!

OK well I am back on track and had two great weekends in a row! Summer Bash by APeX at Easton was wonderful! It was so good to see all my friends that run the facility as well as so many wonderful scene friends & "family". I so needed that!

Then last weekend was the Master slave Conference in Washington DC! Wow, that was an very fascinating event! So much great knowledge being shared and passed down from such well respected and talented Master's & slaves from all over the country! I hope to attend again next year!

In other news I am in the process of negotiating a service contract with a new personal slave in training, slave t! He has been a loyal and loving friend for well over a year now and he has made himself a wonderful asset to me in many ways ... I am honored and thrilled by his service and care for me and look forward to many more years of developing our Mistress / slave relationship. Much love to you slave t!!

I think that pretty much catches us up... I am spending the next several days caring for a very special little house guest and may be trekking off to Sesame Place with her this week as well to see our friends Elmo and Cookie Monster!

Unfortunatey I picked up a nasty little virus of some sort that pretty much knocked me on my butt for a week afterwards!! My roomie, the amazing and unstoppable Bridget Harrington, had pnuemonia the whole time but still managed to do all of her classes! Thankfully it didn't get that bad with me but I sure have had better home comings.

I am definitely better now though and looking forward to a new week of adventures and play wth some wonderful folks!!

Saturday Dave and I spent the afternoon with our "leather family" and had a wonderful afternoon sharing a barbeque dinner and sme laughs with some of our closest friends. Then that evening we drove up to La Domaine Esemar to attnd a small gathering. Madame Sang was in town so Master R arranged to have a few select friends attend and play a bit. Ok so sorry that it took me so long to check in... this past 10 days or so has been a whirlwind! Last weekend was amazing ... 27 women in total 19 participants and 8 staff members) spent a beautiful and transformative weekend together sharing of ourselves intimately and exploring in erotic energy in a safe & supportive environment. I trust him though and think I am really starting to fall for him.

I really hated to leave him on Sunday but I had to race back north to attend the little one’s birthday party and watch her play on that swing set for awhile. Then once again began the task on playing catch up on email and settling back in at home. Sometimes, in the spring and summer my schedule gets so hectic that I feel like all I do is pack and unpack and run from event to event and try to squeeze in session time between adventures.

Anyway, late this evening I spent some delicious time with him online and at the same time did some very sexy cyber fun with one of my favorite “slaves”. Just a fast check in .. I have much catching up to do... last night's class was really fun! Over 30 people showed up (I lost count once the class began but more trickled in as it went on) and a lot of folks participated in the hands on portion. Over all the feedback I got was that it was a really great class but too short which is always encouraging. :)

I am looking forward to doing the 3 hour one I have scheduled for DomSubFriends on May 13th and am actually considering putting together a full day rope "playshop" for those that want to really dive in deep and learn as much as I can teach them in a full days format. Of course with my already insane summer schedule that may be a few months down the road.

Anyway, I had a really lovely time with my friend Dave who I stayed with last night on the island and then stopped off to visit a really dear old friend of mine whom I hadn't seen in far too long. Afterwards, I drove home with the windows wide open, the wind in my hair and the music blasting "Rusted Root". Spring is here and life is good.

I am going to hit send here in a moment and curl up with a glass of wine and slowly and luxuriatingly indulge on a small bag of cream filled chocolates from that dear friend who owns the finest chocolate shop on LI (my humble opinion).

Oh man I had a great time yesterday visiting with my "leather family". My little god daughter did her first Easter egg hunt and then when she was done she asked us: "Pwease again!" So we hid 3 or 4 dozen pretty plastic eggs all over the yard again, while she pretended to cover her eyes. This continued off and on through out the day and the look of joy and excitement on that little girl's face just lights me up. She is the most precious soul on earth to me. :) Anyway, we all had a blast and dinner was really wonderful!! Myke, her dad, is a fabulous cook and it was great to kick back with him and the rest of the "Leather Clan" that was in attendance. :)

After leaving there near exhausted from running around hiding eggs over & over & over .. I drove out to visit my dear friend "Maggie" at her place to "chill" with a marvelous bottle of ice wine that I had been gifted with recently and a lovely selection of cheeses. Her partner was there as well as two other friends of hers so we sat around sipping wines and snacking and chatting til around 1030 at night. Then I came home, checked mail and crawled into bed.

Today, I had to scramble to finish writing a class description and a handout for a class I am teaching on Cock and Ball bondage at Shibaricon: "Binding the Jewels". (Cool name huh?) I also had a bunch of errands that needed to be attended to as well as mowing my postage stamp size yard. I swear there is never a good service oriented slave around when you REALLY need one. :)

Managed to also work on the main site for a few hours and I am really happy with how it is coming along. Tomorrow the "wee one" is here with me so hopefully I will be able to get some fresh air and sunshine with her at a local park. Then it is back here to finish packing for Long Island. Busy, busy, busy!

Next weekend I am assisting at the Body Electric Women’s Celebrating the Body Erotic event in NYC all weekend! It runs Friday – Sunday night and is a very long but very exciting weekend!

So I got to LLC a bit later than I had hoped... :-/ off to a later start than I wanted and poor driving conditions combined led to me missing the first two sessions but I had a great time once I did arrive!

I was delighted to see Mistress Minax of Chicago almost immediately after my arrival. I had met her acquaintance at Shibaricon last year and she is a delightful and beautiful lady! I am very much looking forward to seeing her again in her hoe town at the end of May! I have even been invited to use her space for sessions (if I can tear myself away from the rope classes that is of course) (grin)

Anyway, I spent the day running to and from some great classes and bumping into and visiting with friends from both near & far! Leather Leadership is a great event for anyone that organizes or presents for the community and I highly recommend it!

Then that evening my friend & occasional play partner Leather Dave met me for dinner at a diner close to the host hotel and we headed over to a play party at Bacchus Studios! The space was way too small for the number of people in attendance but we managed to get onto a piece of equipment early in the night and had an absolute ball switching back & forth mid scene topping and bottoming to each other! It was of course also fun to see so many more folks that I know and all of the fabulous fetish gear on so many beautiful people.

I think we finally scooted out around 130 in the morning to go way back out to his place on the island and then by the time we worked off some excess erotic energy that was built up during our play we fell asleep around 4 am. That would have been great if I didn’t have to be up at 7am to drag my ass back into the city for a full day class on search engine optimization! Ugghhh!! The class was absolutely fabulous and well worth the cost but I have a ton of work ahead of me to put all the great things I learned into practice. :-P Basically it is going to take me months if I chip away at it steady but sure.

I slept in Monday after getting home late Sunday night … and then had a great session with a new client from Boston. Cleaned up from that and went to get my god child for a sleep over.. (man she is the cutest thing on earth to me!) We had a great time all day Tuesday (like we do every Tuesday AKA Suzeday as her dad calls it because she and I both look forward to that day of the week).

She went home around 6p last night and I immediately jetted up to La Domaine Esemar to spend a little time with my dear friend and playmate Master R who was in dire need of a bit of a trip to “slave space”. Of course being the service oriented sadist that I am I was delighted to accommodate him, purely for humanitarian reasons of course. So it is almost 10p and I am STILL not fully packed for the weekend! Ughh!! :-P I love events .. I just get so damn tired of all the packing and unpacking and hauling stuff around and totally feeling like I am forgetting something important!

To top it off for some reason I had it in my head that things didn’t kick off til like 10 am or so .. but I was informed a little while ago that in order to catch the first class I need to hit the road by 630am! I am soooo NOT a morning person. :(

But, such is life and this is a good and worthwhile event. Leather Leadership for those that don't know, is an conference geared toward people that help run leather organizations and since I am one of the "powers that be" (lol) in HVDs (Hudson Valley Ds), it is a good idea for me to be there and learn as much as I can to help our group and the lifestyle in general grow!

Then of course there is a play party tomorrow night in the city at a place called Bacchus Studios which should be fun if I am not wiped from running to classes and lectures all day. Then, driving 60 some odd miles back to crash at a friend’s house and hitting the road at 8am again to come back to the city to attend a workshop on search engine optimization from 10a - 6p!

I honestly may have bit off a bit more than I will enjoy chewing this weekend but weekends can be like that around here.
